Summer Camps at Loughborough University

Loughborough Campus provides an ideal environment for English Language, Sports and other specialist international student camps. As the UK's single largest conference site, our vibrant and secure 410 acre campus boasts excellent teaching, accommodation, dining, sports and entertainment facilities. 

 

Teaching Space

Loughborough University offers over 100 state-of-the-art classrooms and lecture theatres during the Easter and Summer periods. All rooms are located over three main areas of campus, offering a dedicated teaching space and a focussed environment to work in. 

 

Accommodation

Up to 2500 high quality standard and ensuite bedroom facilities are available on-site. All rooms include the creature comforts that you would expect including bed linen, towel, soap, and a cup of fresh supplies which are provided every fourth day. The rooms are also cleaned every fourth day with bins emptied daily. The communal areas are cleaned on a daily basis.

 

Dining 

Three meals will be freshly prepared each day and is served from one of our bright and airy dining halls which are situated across the Loughborough University Campus. Provisions will be made for students with special medical dietary or religious requirements. What's more, packed lunches will be provided on full day excursions.

 

Sports 

Loughborough is well known as the UK's sporting capital. Offering an inspirational backdrop, it is the home to the UK’s premier sporting facilities including football, rugby, swimming, tennis, badminton, netball, cricket, athletics, and many more. Loughborough University offers a first-rate experience for both elite and grass root level athletes alike.

 

Location and Excursions

Located in the heart of England, Loughborough is within easy access of the Peak District, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Warwickshire. Our fantastic transport links make us easily accessible from Central London, where we are located only a couple of hours away. The University and all its facilities are one mile from junction 23 of the M1 motorway, eight miles from Nottingham East Midlands Airport and 90 miles from London Heathrow.
